What’s the Difference between a facelift and a liquid facelift?
The main difference is that a liquid facelift is nonsurgical and a facelift is a surgical procedure. With a facelift, we are surgically tightening the skin and underlying muscles. Whereas a liquid facelift, we are using dermal fillers to add volume and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
How long will the results last?
A nonsurgical facelift will last for one to two years. This can be a great procedure for patients who aren’t quite ready for a full facelift. Many of our liquid facelift patients do this procedure before electing for the more traditional, surgical operation.
Is a liquid facelift safe?
Absolutely. It is a non-surgical procedure that uses dermal fillers to plump the face and reduce lax skin and wrinkles.
Does a liquid facelift hurt?
There may be some slight discomfort, but the treatment should not be painful. We can offer a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment areas. After the treatment, there may be some redness and bruising, but it should subside within a few days.
